My first romance novels debut this year! As in I have 2 novels coming out this year, Handling the Rancher & Salvaging Love. How crazy is that? The first books in two different series are being published by Totally Bound Publishing and I am full of gratitude and nerves. It’s one thing to write a book. It’s another to have people read it. Which I know is the point, but it also intimidates the heck out of me.

I’ve been writing creative non-fiction for a long time, about my father’s war stories, about motherhood, about food and grief and life and anxiety. I think essay will always be my first love. But crafting entire worlds for fictional characters to inhabit, to love, to heal broken hearts, well it’s a whole lotta fun!

My aim was to write sexy love stories with beautiful communities and friendships and good food sprinkled in, the kind of world I’d want to live in. I hope you have as much fun reading them as I had creating them.
