When I found out I was getting a book party, one of my first thoughts was, Yay! Perfect excuse for a party! I’ve been writing for a long time with many successes and failures, and it’s important to celebrate the good days, the fun, the wonderful connections, the accomplishments, because so much of writing and editing is a lonely journey.
A book release is special, and for that it deserves a special cocktail. One of my favorite sparkly cocktails is the French 75. I wrote about it on my blog lemonsandroses.com and when I have my first book release party this fall, French 75 will be there too. I’d love to hear what you do to celebrate something amazing in your life. Cheers!
